Here are the highlights:

  • Our 2nd Collection this weekend is for the World Youth Day Pilgrimage. Your continued generosity has provided the travelers with almost $6100, which will help defray some of the costs for those attending. Thank you so much!
  • Father David is celebrating MASS ON TUESDAYS AT NOON DURING THE ADVENT SEASON. There will not be a parish penance service this season but Father will hear confessions ½ hour before and after the noon Mass on these Tuesdays.

  • 2023 calendars are available in the Commons. Please take one per family.
  • New USHERS are needed at both Masses. This is an excellent way to serve. Contact Frank Pilk if you are interested (571.239.3373).
  • In an ongoing effort, sneakers are being collected to benefit CHIU (Catholic Health Initiatives for Uganda). It doesn’t matter the condition. (p. 5)
  • Christmas dinner will be available to those who otherwise have no plans, on Christmas day in the Parish Hall at SPP beginning at 1pm. Please sign up to indicate how many are in your party and what kind of side dish or dessert you will bring to share.
  • Tabella is a free Catholic app that we will use to keep you up-to-date on events at both churches. Please pick up the flyer in the Commons that will walk you through loading the app to your Smartphone and making SPP or SJ your preferred parish.
  • 100 Club memberships are available for 2023. (p. 6)

  • This Sunday, December 18, we will have our annual parish CHRISTMAS BRUNCH immediately after Mass. Please bring a dish to share as we enjoy celebrating the season with one another. (p. 10)
  • Christmas Mass at St. Joseph’s is Sunday, December 25th at 9am.
  • The next fundraiser for the World Youth Day program is a SPAGHETTI DINNER/PIE CONTEST at St. Joseph’s on Saturday, January 14th at 6:30pm. (p. 11)
