With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Patricia “Carmel” Tighe on November 18th. Her wake will start at 2pm on Monday, November 22nd with her funeral Mass at 3pm.
The Youth Group has a campfire planned for TONIGHT, Friday, November 19th at 7pm. You’ll have fun making S’mores while listening to music. Students in grades 5 -12 are eligible to attend. It’s going to be chilly so bring a blanket as well as a chair (p. 4)

- Liturgy of the Hours begins on November 29th at 9am on Facebook, every Monday and Saturday during Advent. (p. 8)
- Prayer for Pray It Forward – building a strong community (p. 7)
- Nov. 15 – 26: it is now time to draw a card from the same container (just one) and pray for the person on the card all throughout the Advent season; starts the weekend of Nov. 27/28 through Dec. 23rd.
- If you put your name in, you have from now until Sat., Nov. 27th to draw a card.
- Happy Face is here again. Like last year, the Poor Box has been converted to a donation box for Happy Face, but only through this weekend. They are also collecting toys and non-perishable food in the entrance to the church. (p. 8)
- There is NO CCD next Sunday, November 28th due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
- Our Angel Tree is up! Look for tags to cover the tree and hopefully you’ll be able to help someone in need this season. Gifts are due back wrapped, with tag attached, by Sunday, Dec. 12th (p.9)
- A Novena to St. Joseph for St. Joseph’s parishioners will start TODAY, Friday, November 19 and end on Sunday, November 28th.
- Students in grades 8 – 12, don’t forget to turn in your essay for the Knights of Columbus essay contest to the office by the November 30th deadline.
- Father David has added extra time to his calendar for confessions.

- St. Joseph parishioners are having a Farewell party for Deacon Peter and Billie after Mass this weekend. Please stop by to wish them well.
- Next Sunday we look forward to welcoming the Bishop to St. Joseph to close out the Year of St. Joseph.
