26th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Greetings:

Your bulletin: https://saintspeterpaulpalmyra.org/september-26th-2021/

Last week, one of our parishioner’s email had been hacked and you may have received an email from them requesting a favor for you to purchase gift cards (of various vendors). Please do not reply to these emails; just delete them. This is a scam that comes around frequently and can be problematic.

Broadway Show Night: “Singin’ in the Rain” is the feature presentation tonight in St. Francis Hall starting at 6:30pm. Come and enjoy a relaxed evening with the family.
CCD parents: for the safety of the children, if you are not attending Mass, you may pick up your child in the Commons in the front of the church. There will be a brief parent meeting @10:45am in St. Francis for all classes before the 11:00am Mass on Sunday, October 3rd, 2021. Please plan to attend. (p. 4)
Confessions: are back in the church in the Confessional.
Adoration: please see the latest issue (Sept. 20, top of pg. 9) of the Catholic Virginian for some inspiration on Adoration. (p. 5)
Bake Sale: Can you believe October is here next weekend, and that means our next Bake Sale is also. Simple ways you can help are to donate some baked goodies right before Mass and/or BUY your favorite goodies before you leave. Stop at the tables in the Commons. (p. 5)
Respect Life: 40 Days for Life vigils start next week, Tuesday, September 28th from 9 – 11 in front of Planned Parenthood. (p. 8)
K of C: Faith, Family, and Financial Security: September 29th @ 7pm (p. 9)
Reflections: The next “Reflections” talk is this Thursday at 5:30 at St. Joseph. (p. 10)

These are only the highlights, there is much more inside.

I hope you enjoy the fall weather that has arrived. I hope it sticks around.

Blessings to you!

Karen Davidson
