Here are the highlights:

  • Our monthly bake sale returns next weekend. Food donations can be dropped off before Masses. Thank you for your support.
  • The office is closed on Monday & Tuesday, July 3rd & 4th in observance of Independence Day!
  • Thanks to all who stopped by the Parish Day picnic last weekend. Some of the photos from the even can be viewed on pg. 3 of the bulletin, more are on the Facebook page.
  • Congratulations to Fr. David for 4 years of service at Sts. Peter and Paul and St. Joseph’s Shrine of St. Katharine Drexel. We are looking forward to your next year of service. Thank you Fr. David.
  • The Office of Cemeteries from the diocese will be here next weekend to answer questions about funeral planning and more. Please plan to stay after both Masses for their presentation.
  • The next Youth Group meeting is on Friday, July 14th, from 5 – 7pm in room 119 in the Parish Hall.
  • Join us at our first annual Celebration Dinner at GIA’s on July 16th at 1pm honoring Pat Amato, Richie Scampoli, and Veronica Lyttle. Tickets are $35 each and are available now!
  • CCD registration begins August 1st; classes resume September 10th. The fee is $45 for the first child, $25 for each additional child.
  • The Knights of Columbus is teaming up with CHIU to put on a Talent Show and Dinner and your talent is needed! Saturday, August 19, 2023 is the date to reserve. If you are interested in sharing your talent alongside fellow parishioners, please contact Bob Maher at 434.589.1170 or [email protected]. The funds raised from this effort will help buy drugs and medications for the next medical mission to Uganda and pay for the doctors and nurses that will be helping during the mission at St. Anthony’s in Mitala Maria this January.

  • Join us for a Parish Homecoming on Sunday, July 9th after Mass. This includes food, friends, pictures and more!
