Here are the highlights:

  • Join us in the Parish Hall this Friday, June 24th from 7 – 8:30pm as we welcome guest speaker Carolyn Holcomb, to celebrate the Year of the Eucharist in an evening of fellowship and reflection.
  • Parish PICNIC is this weekend on Sunday, June 26th immediately following the 11am Mass. Bring your lawn chairs and appetites and join in the fun and fellowship as we celebrate our Patron Saints. (p. 8)
  • New USHERS are needed at both Masses. This is an excellent way to serve. Contact Frank Pilk if you are interested; his number is on page 2 of the bulletin.
  • The Crafters are back, getting ready for another Craft Fair in November. They meet on Thursdays in Michael’s room from 9:30am – 2:30p. Anyone may join.
  • Parish Council Elections – will be held on July 10. If you are interested in helping our Parish grow and live its motto to Evangelize, Sanctify, and Serve, then contact one of the current council members. (p. 8)
  • Diocesan Youth opportunities – Discipleship week (for rising 10th – 12th graders) at Williamsburg Christian Retreat Center and EPIC (for rising 6th – 8th graders) at St. Edward the Confessor in Richmond. Contact John Verga ([email protected]) if interested. (p. 4)
  • “Exploring the Eucharist” Exhibit is now open. It will continue through November in the Invitation Room (formerly St. Raphael’s room). Please stop in and deepen your love for Jesus in the Eucharist. (p. 8)
  • Disc Golf is coming-July 16th and July 23rd at Pleasant Grove Park (not the dog park) at 8:30am. (p. 9)
  • The annual Golf Tournament is Sunday, September 11, 2022 with registration starting at noon and a 1pm Shotgun start. The price is $75. Contact Cynthia with any questions or if you’d like to volunteer. (p. 9)
  • Thank you to all who participated, especially the children, in the Feast of Corpus Christi procession. It was a beautiful sight to witness.
  • If you are in either building after normal business hours, please, please, please, be sure to:
    • NOT prop doors open (we cannot afford to heat/cool the outside).
    • turn lights off (even if you didn’t turn them on)
    • turn off/unplug the portable heater/fan (chapel users only)
    • turn around and make sure the outermost doors have completely closed behind you. (Yank on the door to make sure it doesn’t open.)
