The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ

Greetings:

Your bulletin: https://saintspeterpaulpalmyra.org/june-2nd-2024/

And just like that, June is here!

Here are the highlights:

  • Sunday, June 2nd, there will be a Corpus Christi procession after the 11am Mass around the parking lot that will take about 30 minutes. Please join with fellow parishioners of all ages, especially the children who received First Communion just a few weeks ago.
  • May has ended and so has the campaign for baby items for the LifeSpring Pregnancy Center. Many useful items of bottles, diapers, wipes, clothes and blankets were collected, as well as $278. Thank you so much for your support.
  • The Chapel remains closed as we wait for repair estimates from 2 companies. You are welcome to adore in the church, where the Blessed Sacrament is present.
  • Our Yard Sale is upon us. Many helpers are needed every day from June 2nd through June 8th for many tasks; moving tables, setting up tents, sorting donated items, selling goods, etc. Please let Cynthia (434.996.6065) know that you are able to help. If you have any items to donate, please plan on dropping them off between Monday and Wednesday of next week.
  • CHIU Golf Tournament at Spring Creek information can be found on page 9.
  • Save the Date: for our Parish Trip to France to kick off our yearlong celebration of our 40th anniversary
    • April 24 till May 4, 2025
    • Additional details can be found on the Parish Council board in the Commons
  • Sts. Peter and Paul Religious Store is open before/after Mass on Saturdays and after Mass on Sundays. You can contact the store via email at [email protected].
  • If you have misplaced any items in the church, come see Karen in the office; it’s where many lost things go.
  • If you have recently changed your email address or phone number, please send a note to the office so we can update the system and make sure you don’t miss out on any information we have to share with you.

St. Joseph’s News:

  • Want to be more involved in parish life but not sure what there is to do? There will be a Ministry Fair at St. Joseph later in June to find out how you can volunteer your time and talent. All are welcome.
  • If you enjoy our food and fellowship after Mass each week, please consider making a periodic donation to help offset the costs of paper goods, coffee and other things.

Blessings always!
Karen Davidson
