Here are the highlights:

  • Congratulations to our children receiving their First Holy Communion this weekend:

  • Vacation Bible School for preK4-5th grade will be available this year at Sts. Peter and Paul from June 19th – 22nd from 6-8PM in the hall.
  • Are you thinking ahead to Mother’s Day (May 14th)? We are having a flower sale on Mother’s Day to raise funds for our youth group activities. You’ll be able to get a single flower for $5 or a bouquet of 3 for $10. Thank you for supporting our youth.
  • Opera Night is coming! Friday, May 12th at 6:30pm at Sts. Peter and Paul – Tosca. A sign-up sheet is in the Commons.
  • Senior Health Coffee Social on May 31st after the 9am Mass. We’ll talk about the “Fourth Quarter” of life. Bring a friend.
  • The parish Yard Sale begins with set-up starting on Sunday, June 4th, and continuing through the week. The event takes place on Friday and Saturday, June 9th and 10th. Please contact Cynthia Aycock if you are able to help.
  • Joan Hansen’s Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, June 29 at 11am. There will NOT be a 9am Mass that day due to the funeral.
  • Our monthly BAKE SALE returns this weekend, May 6th and 7th after both Masses.
  • Job posting: Part-time receptionist is needed for 24 hours/week at Sts. Peter and Paul. See pg. 9 of the bulletin for more details.
  • Sts. Peter and Paul now has a weekly YOGA class on Tuesdays from 11-12 in the Hall. Direct questions to Renata Miller at 757.536.8408 or email [email protected].

  • Our next activity in recognition of our 140th anniversary is May 21st – Children’s Mass at 9:00am.
  • There will no longer be a Thursday Mass at St. Joseph.
