Just a few days to go until Halloween. Don’t worry – you’ve got this!

In today’s Gospel, Jesus reminds us of our call – to love God with all our strength, and to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. These two commands are the pillars of our moral life, and it is only through God’s grace that we can fulfill them.

Plan an hour this week to enjoy the beauty of God’s world. What you see is not random chance, but creation, formed by His hand to remind us of Him.

In tomorrow’s first reading, God lists four groups of people who often have their dignity violated: strangers, widows, orphans, and the poor. He shows special care for them and commands us to do the same.
