Greatly Valuing Your Sacrifices

Greatly valuing your sacrifices!

Dear Parishioners and Friends of Sts. Peter and Paul,

Cordial greetings to you!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all you are doing to
support your families; for that is your primary responsibility. It has never
been easy. There is always a challenge here and there, and in one-way or the
other. I can imagine the sacrifices you make!

I thank you also for supporting your Church; St. Peter and Paul, which is yet
another important family to which you belong. It is now four months since I
became your Pastor; I must confess that this time has been  challenging, but
with a lot of hope! You have made several contributions that I recognize ever
since I got here, to help in reducing our debt, and also making all possible
efforts to build a fund to which we can always go to in case of any

Much as I have some fears in regards to our financial situation, I have much
hope in your support as you have continued to help me lead you. Thank you
very much! I am positive that if we continue in this direction, and God guiding
us, we shall better our situation. You should all know that I greatly value you
and all the sacrifices you make. There is nothing I take for granted!

One other strength that I would like to bring to your attention is the strong
Finance Council that advises me on which financial decisions to make. These
men and women have continued to advise me ever since I got here, and I
take their counsel very seriously because of their rich experiences, and I am
very grateful to each of them for all their contributions and counsel.

This weekend 11/2 and 11/3 we embark yet again on contributing towards
our debt reduction. And the weekend of 11/9 and 11/10 we shall contribute
towards our quarterly Cash Reserve. I would like to thank you in advance for
any contribution that you will be able to make towards these very important
second collections.

I keep you all and your families in my prayers. I also ask you to pray for me
that I may lead you well as God wants me!

Sincerely Yours,
Fr. David
